AXIS Theater is a playhouse that
caters to Baltimore-area actors and artisans presenting new and
exciting works. The Theatre also brings in some controversial works
from areas outside of Baltimore. This is an artsy, free expression
theatre, displaying some of the most talented unrecognized artists
in Baltimore.

Center stage is one of Baltimore’s
premier professional theater companies, offering the best in theater
productions. Under the artistic direction of Irene Lewis Center
Stage has staged classics from Shakespeare, Moliere and Chekhov. The
building actually consists of two theaters in one. The downstairs
Pearlestone Theater (permanent seating), and the upstairs Head
Theater (general admission). Both theaters offer excellent seats
that are close to the stage with an unobstructed view of the actors.
